Rhodes island tips

The island of Rhodes, in the south of the Aegean Sea, is approximately 78 miles long and at the widest point 35 km wide (ca.1300 sq km area total). It is the largest island in the Dodecanese, and the fourth largest in Greece. Rhodes has around 115,000 inhabitants, of which over half (60.000) in Rhodes town lives. Rhodes climate

Rhodes is one of the most visited islands in Greece it has many hotels and a very active nightlife, with over 3,000 hours of sunshine a year on the sunniest regions in Europe. From mid-May to mid-September rain is hardly to be expected. The water supply is sufficient, thanks to the limestone mountains all secured.
